Built From the Inside Out,
On Real Care
We're not a faceless corporation. We're a team of carers and support workers who've spent years on the frontline and built Asina because we knew the industry could do better. People with disabilities deserve more than the bare minimum.
Born From a Real Problem
After more than a decade on the frontline of disability support, our founder Ben Feenan saw the same problems over and over: understaffed homes, burned-out workers, providers cutting corners, and families left worrying whether their loved ones were truly being cared for.
The quality just wasn't there. Not everywhere, but in too many places. Too many providers were treating participants like line items on a spreadsheet instead of real people with real goals and real families who love them.
Asina was built to be different. Founded by a team of carers and support workers who've been in the trenches. We know what good care looks like because we've delivered it ourselves. And we know what bad care looks like because we've seen too much of it.
We started Asina because the people we serve deserve more than minimum standards. They deserve support workers who actually care, a provider who picks up the phone, and a team that treats every participant the way they'd want their own loved ones treated.
Our Values: Innovate. Create. Grow.
Three words that shape every decision we make, every service we deliver, and every life we touch.
Push Boundaries, Not People
The disability sector is full of "that's just how it's done." We don't accept that. We bring fresh thinking to support planning, use technology to keep families informed, and constantly look for better ways to deliver care. If something isn't working, we change it. Innovation isn't a buzzword for us — it's how we stay ahead for our participants.
Build Experiences That Matter
We don't just "provide services" — we create real, meaningful experiences. Whether that's a participant cooking their first meal independently, going bowling with new friends, or landing a volunteer role they're proud of, we create the moments that change lives. Every support session is an opportunity to build something lasting.
Together, We Rise
Growth isn't just about us getting bigger — it's about our participants growing in confidence, independence, and happiness. It's about our support workers developing their skills and building real careers. And yes, it's about Asina growing so we can reach more families who need quality support. When one of us grows, we all grow.
Ben Feenan
I got into disability support in 2015 and spent the next decade working in SIL homes, alongside behaviour support teams, and eventually supervising 35+ staff. I've worked with DARE Disability Support, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, and local providers across Sydney and the New England Region.
I started Asina because I kept seeing the same gaps everywhere I worked. Great participants, great families, and not enough providers who truly cared. I wanted to build something from scratch with the right values baked in from day one — not bolted on later as a marketing exercise.
This isn't just a business to me. It's personal. Every family that trusts us with their loved one — I take that seriously.

Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To provide high-quality, culturally responsive disability support services that empower individuals to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. We're committed to delivering person-centred care that respects the unique needs and aspirations of every participant — and gives their families peace of mind.
Our Vision
A world where every person with a disability has the opportunity to live their best life — connected to community, supported in their goals, and empowered to thrive. We envision a disability support sector where care is seamless, responsive, and deeply human. Where providers are held to a higher standard. Where families never have to worry.
