FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ARMIDALE, NSW — 10 June 2026 — Today we're making a change we believe is overdue in the disability sector. We've published our full pricing on our website, for anyone to see — and every rate we charge now sits approximately 10% below the NDIS price cap.
From June 2026, we bill $63 per hour for standard weekday core supports — daily living, self-care and community access — against the NDIS price limit of $70.23 per hour. And it's not just weekdays. Our rates sit below the cap on every band:
| When | Asina rate | NDIS price cap |
|---|---|---|
| Weekday daytime | $63.00 /hr | $70.23 /hr |
| Weekday evening | $69.40 /hr | $77.38 /hr |
| Saturday | $88.65 /hr | $98.83 /hr |
| Sunday | $114.30 /hr | $127.43 /hr |
| Public holiday | $139.95 /hr | $156.03 /hr |
Why are we doing this? Because of where the NDIS is right now. With regulatory uncertainty across the broader industry, pricing changes on the table and plans coming under real pressure, families are being asked to do more with less. The price caps in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements are a maximum, not a required price — yet most providers bill the cap anyway. We want to help plans go further amidst the cuts, not stretch them thinner.
Here's what that looks like in practice for someone receiving 20 hours of weekday support each week:
| 20 hrs/week of support | At the NDIS cap | With Asina |
|---|---|---|
| Hourly rate | $70.23 /hr | $63.00 /hr |
| Cost per week | $1,404.60 | $1,260.00 |
| Cost per year (52 weeks) | $73,039.20 | $65,520.00 |
| Back in your plan: $144.60 every week — $7,519.20 a year — roughly 119 extra hours of support from the same budget. | ||
“The NDIS price guide sets a ceiling, not a target. We're a local team and we run lean — we simply have no need to charge the full rate, so we don't. Charging below the cap means the people we support get more hours from the same plan. It's that simple.”
This change sits alongside the transparency we've built into Asina from day one. Every participant already has a real-time online portal showing their schedules, shift notes, invoices and NDIS budget tracking. Publishing our full rate card — with the NDIS caps right beside our rates, so you can see exactly what you're saving — extends that same openness to pricing.
“Families are watching the NDIS change around them and wondering what it means for their plans. The one thing we can control is what we charge. Transparency shouldn't be a marketing word — our rates are on our website, next to the government's price cap, for anyone to check.”
Our rates are GST-free for NDIS participants and carry no platform, administration or establishment fees. We review our pricing against each annual update of the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and our commitment is simple: we will always stay below the cap. This is the first of several changes we'll be announcing over the coming months.
