Asina Disability Support Expands Across NSW with New Offices in Penrith, Newcastle and Tamworth
ARMIDALE, NSW — 7 August 2026. Asina Disability Support, the person-centred NDIS support provider founded in Armidale, is expanding across New South Wales with three new offices in Penrith, Newcastle and Tamworth — while continuing to deliver support across its founding home of Armidale and the New England.
The Newcastle CBD office will house Asina's corporate headquarters alongside a brand-new day program. Penrith and Tamworth open as full support hubs, each with local support workers and a local team participants and families can drop in on. Together, the three offices bring Asina's frontline-led model of support — and new local jobs — to some of the state's biggest regions.
“We've been quiet for a reason — we were waiting until we had the keys. Now we do. We built Asina on a simple idea: support run by people who have actually done the work, shift after shift. These new offices mean we can bring that same standard of care to thousands more families, with the same culture and values we set from day one.”
— Ben Feenan, Founder, Asina Disability Support
Asina was founded by Ben Feenan, a support worker with more than ten years of hands-on frontline experience. Mr Feenan began his career in 2015 as a Key Worker with DARE Disability Support in Sydney, joined the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2021 — where he gained his MAPA certification and worked closely with behaviour support teams — and moved to Armidale in 2025 to supervise a team of around 35 staff, before founding Asina to lift the standard of support across NSW.
Each location will deliver Asina's full range of person-centred NDIS supports: community access, daily living and personal care, transport assistance, meal preparation, capacity building, drop-in support and NDIS cleaning. Participants choose who works with them — with free meet and greets and the final say on their team — and manage everything through a transparent client portal: schedules, shift notes, invoices and support plans in one place.
“Out in the field, I could only be there for a few people at a time. Growing Asina into Penrith, Newcastle and Tamworth means the kind of care I saw change one young man's life early in my career can now reach families right across New South Wales.”
— Ben Feenan
Local jobs in every region
The expansion creates employment in each new location. Asina is recruiting support workers across Penrith, Newcastle, Tamworth, Armidale and surrounds, paying SCHADS Award rates with super and penalties, and training new workers through its in-house program, the Asina Academy.
